Description
Le MIM-104 Patriot est le principal système de missiles sol-air (SAM) mobiles utilisé par l'armée américaine et plusieurs pays alliés. Fabriqué par Raytheon, il tire son nom de l'acronyme PATRIOT (Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target). Depuis 1984, il constitue le principal système de défense aérienne à haute et moyenne altitude des États-Unis.
